An jeder weiterführenden Schule ist laut Schulgesetz eine Vertretung der Schülerschaft vorgesehen. Sie ist wichtiger Teil der „Schuldemokratie“, indem sie Rechte der Schülerinnen und Schüler vertritt und sich für eine Verbesserung der Position der Schülerschaft engagiert.
Die Schülervertretung (SV) ist das Bindeglied zwischen der Schülerschaft und den Lehrern. Sie vertritt vorrangig die Interessen der Schüler. Die SV ist also auf der einen Seite eine Anlaufstelle für Schüler, wenn diese Fragen oder Probleme haben, auf der anderen Seite aber natürlich auch Ansprechpartner für Lehrer oder die Schulleitung.
An unserer Schule wird die SV gebildet von allen Klassensprechern und ihren Vertretern.
